The CERB amount is a taxable amount. Whatever amount you receive, needs to be reported on your 2020 tax return and tax will be calculated on that amount. We strongly recommend setting aside 25% of the amount received under CERB. For a complete overview visit the website:

Once a tax return is ready for filing, we will send you an email with the paperwork to sign that you can return signed, per email or drop off in the mailbox at the bottom of our driveway. Canada Revenue has extended the deadline of filing income taxes for individuals till June 1st. The deadline for sole proprietors has not changed and is still June 15th. However, if you have a family and counting on child care benefits or expecting a refund, we recommend to file as soon as possible to assure proper and timely processing. If you have an amount owing for personal income taxes filed on or after March 18th, the due date is delayed to August 31, 2020.
